Taupe Eyes | Una

Hey Friends, another week which means another makeup look this time on my gorgeous model Barbara! It features a taupe look which I love to wear for a quick and easy look for a spontaneous night out where I have little time! Comment below what other eye looks you would like to see us all do!

As I always do,  I began with The Body Shop’s Matte Primer to ensure the foundation and other products go on effortlessly. After waiting a few minutes for the primer to sink in, I applied MAC Studio Fix Fluid in the colour NW15 all over the face and Studio Finish Concealer in the same colour under the eyes and on any blemishes.

Now onto the fun part, the eyes! Using a slightly damp flat brush, I packed on the bronze/taupe colour Toasted from Urban Decay’s Naked Palette. I also ran this colour under the eye lightly. I wanted to deepen the crease by using this dark brown colour shown below (the name unknown sorry!). I used a MAC 217 brush for this as its soft bristles are great for blending out such dark colours and not leave that unsightly line! I also ran this same colour at the base of the eye focusing on the outer edges. I used that shimmery peach colour in the inner eye areas and on the brow bone to really bring out her eyes. I then lined Barbara’s upper eyelid using an angled brush with MAC’s Fluidline keeping it very close to the lash line. To complete the eyes, I applied lots of layers of MAC’s False Lashes Extreme Lash mascara  to create that flirty look.

Barbara loves a really glowy face so I applied Benefit’s High Beam to the high points of Barbara’s face. I then placed MAC Mineralise blush in the colour Gleeful which is a beautiful pink colour with a golden undertone and Clinique’s Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in the colour Curviest Caramel.

I hope you enjoyed this simple taupe eyes look, hopefully you’ll see more of Barbara popping up on Trimakeup. See you next week, Bye!

Una x
