Favourite Perfumes | Kajal

Hi everyone! I have been incredibly lucky as I have been gifted many perfumes over the years. I don’t feel offended by this – it means more choice for me!

Perfume (5)

I have a fair few and I will admit I do love having pretty perfume bottles on my desk; I do judge perfumes by their outward appearance. Today I’m going to show you my top five:

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum (30ml)

Perfume (6)

This is my favourite perfume! I’m quite upset because it’s nearly finished 😦 This photographed quite oddly – the colour of the perfume is more rosy in real life than green :/. This perfume is incredibly strong, and will last a long time; it definitely lingers on my clothes afterwards. It’s floral (no surprise there) and has hints of jasmine, tea, roses, orchids and freesias. All good stuff – I love this and will be buying it again (at some point!)

Price: £50

Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche Eau de Toilette Spray (50ml)

Summer favourites

I have reviewed this before in my Summer Favourites blog post. I decided to include it again! A really lovely, light fruity perfume with woody and citrus notes. Quite the opposite to Flowerbomb, but just as lovely.

Price: £54.50

Nina Ricci Nina Eau De Toilette (50ml)

Perfume (4)

I love this bottle. This perfume is pretty strong too, and is quite fruity and heavy. It has notes of lemon, apple, musk, cedar and peony. I wear this when I want something that will last a long time. I think it’s also one I reach for when I want to feel a bit more sophisticated. It may be the combination of cedar and musk, but I personally think it’s quite a grown-up perfume (no bad thing.)

Price: £41.00

Cacharel Amor Amor Eau de Toilette 30ml

I don’t appear to have taken a photo for this one! (It’s the smaller red glass bottle.) This lovely little ‘potion bottle’ would make a great present – Freddie actually bought me this! This has also nearly run out…this post is making me realise that most of my favourites are coming to an end. This perfume is a mixture of fruity and floral – the best of both worlds. It contains blackcurrant, grapefruit, jasmine and vanilla to name a few. Essentially it contains a whole host of fragrances but they all come together nicely. The size also makes it great for travel – I really recommend this one.

Price: £14.99

Ghost Eclipse Eau de Toilette Sample

Perfume (3)

How cute is this tiny bottle? I got this sample in a magazine, and it’s a lovely perfume with both fruity and floral notes including marigold, musk and mixed fruits. Despite the musk it is still quite light. It’s a roll-on which makes it perfect for on the go and on nights out! This perfume lives in my handbag. I’m tempted to buy the full-size of this one too…hm…

Which perfumes have you been loving this summer? We’d love to know!

  1. I’ve been loving the Victoria’s Secret fragrance mists this summer! I am going to write a post about them very soon. I’ve also ran out of it and quite upset 😦 need to go grab another! Loved reading your post though x

    1. Thank you for reminding me about them! I have one which I love and a matching body lotion but the bottle broke 😥 I need to dig it out. I understand your pain – writing this post made me realise how many I’m running out of! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂 Kajal x

      1. Oh that’s upsetting! I haven’t tried the matching body lotions. Are they any good? I also think you should transfer some of the mist into another one of your empties and use it like that so you don’t miss out on the amazing scent just because of the broken bottles hehe 🙂

      2. That’s a fantastic idea! It smells so good! Their body lotions are pretty good – more for the smell (they’re just as good as the sprays) than their actual moisturising properties, but even on that front they get the job done! X
