Hey friends! I’m here to complete my (small) collection of lip products focusing on the nudes colours. Kajal has also given her run-down of her favourite nude colours which you can read here!
No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in the colour Bare was my first nude lipstick that I bought on recommendation of a No7 advisor. A problem with nude lipsticks is that they can really wash me out as the lip colour can blend in with skin. However, this colour really compliments my skin tone as it has a pink undertone which enhances the natural pigmentation of my lips. The produce itself does not have an overpowering smell but most importantly it is really moisturising and does not dry out my lips. I love to wear this on a daily basis or even on a night out if I’m wearing a strong eye look.
Just Won’t Budge
I know a huge problem that people face with any lip product is the fact many of them do not last throughout the day and you constantly have to reapply them. In comes L’Oreal Infallible 24Hour Lip Colour in the colour Invincible Sable (113). This product definitely lasts long and is even quite hard to remove! I would not necessarily confirm it lasts 24 hours but that shouldn’t be a problems as I’m unsure of people who really need a lip product to last that many hours. This product comes with a base colour which I usually pat onto my lips with my finger to ensure not too much colour is applied. Then I apply a conditioning balm over the top to lock in the colour and to make my lips feel all moisturised. I adore the balm as it makes your lips so soft that sometimes I just use it on its own!
On the Go Nude
We all need that lip product that we can throw into our bag and whip out on the go. Clinique’s Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing lip colour balm in the colour Curviest Caramel is that perfect product! The actual formula is really soft and great for everyday use as it does not dry out your lips. Furthermore, the colour payoff is really good giving a really strong nude colour even on one application. I used it in this make up look on my model Barbara which you can check out here.
I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my lipstick collection, I’ll be back showing you another make up look using one of these products. Till next time, Bye!
