Hi everyone! I have a look for you guys today – just a simple smokey eye with a bright lip! My friend Laura let me use her face (she is very brave.)
This look was really simple. I love Laura’s pink hair so I thought that it would be great to play it up with a bright pink lip.
Laura had already done her brows so I left them be. To start, I used a Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply Laura’s L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation. I then used a beauty blender to blend out the foundation as it is quite runny and has really high coverage.
For Laura’s eyes I used a flat brush to apply an eyeshadow (a dark, shimmery shade) from a Forever 21 palette. I then used my MAC 217 Blending Brush (love) to apply the darkest shade in her crease. Using the lightest shade, I highlighted under her brow-bone, down her nose and on the top of her cheeks. I then lined her eyes using the darkest shade in the palette, and a bit of MAC’s Technakohl liner in Graphblack. A bit of masacara and bam – eyes done!
To contour I used Laura’s Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in Rose Flush (I love this – the highlighting shade is beaut) and a bit of MAC’s Gingerly Blush (which is more of a bronzer than a blush) to give her a really warm glow. To finish off I added a really bright pink lipstick! (I can’t remember the name of this one – but Urban Decay’s Catfight is quite similar.)
