Winters Night | Una

Hey friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I am back with another make up tutorial using the Naked 3 palette that I reviewed a few weeks ago. Let me know your thoughts on this look in the comments below. Let’s get started!

I began with a nice base of primer, foundation and translucent powder. Onto my favourite bit, the eyes! I started with Urban Decay primer potion all over the eye. Then I packed on the colour Factory all over the lid and a little bit under the eye using a flat brush. I used a MAC 217 brush to blend in the colour into the eye socket so it looked less like I had a black eye.

After, I went in with a bit of Avon SuperShock colour in starry night along the lash line creating a little bit of a wing. You could also use a simple black eyeliner or brown for a softer line. I went back in with the blending brush to really smoke out the harsh winged line I had just created. I also tightlined my eyes also using this same pencil. To add a little extra shimmer I layered Black Heart over the liner. (I got this wonderful tip to use Black Heart as a liner from Mabel of The Style Suit, so credit goes to her!) I blended the black shadow out with a fluffy brush. To complete the look I used a Nooner in my eye socket to create a seamless effect between the colour Factory and my brow bone. Finally, I ran through Clinique’s High Impact Mascara all over the lashes and topped off with some fake eye lashes. Below, you can slightly see the lash band on my left eye but that soon disappeared when the glue dried as you can see with the right eye.

On the rest of my face I lightly contoured using Sleek’s Contour palette and then highlighted with Benefit’s HighBeam on my brow and cheek bones. I topped it all off with a shimmery blush and pink based lipgloss.

I hope you enjoyed this look and don’t forget to check out my Naked 3 palette review here. Til’ next time, bye!  Una X
