Today I’m going to show you the makeup look I wore out to my birthday dinner.
Using MAC paint pot in Painterly as a base, I pressed Urban Decay’s Sidecar over the lid with a 217 and buffed it into the crease. Then I pressed this gorgeous Barry M fine glitter dust in Gold Iridescent over the very centre of my lid.
Taking Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick in Blackmail on a angled eyeliner brush I lined my top lashline and extended it into a short wing. To both soften the look and add interest, I passed over the liner with a navy shadow (MAC Blue Velvet from the Enchanted Eyes palette) on a pencil brush.
To finish the eyes I curled my lashes and applied my usual MaxFactor False Lash Effect mascara. After completing my face makeup, I brushed through my brows with a spoolie and topped them off with Maybelline Brow Drama.
I smoothed a GOSH primer over my face before doing eye makeup, to give it time to settle on the skin. I applied Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer under my eyes and Nars Sheer Glow to the rest of my face with a Real Techniques Small Foundation Brush, blending out with the Sigma F86 tapered kabuki brush.
I set the base with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder as usual, focussing on my under eyes. I lightly contoured under my cheekbones and around my temples using the Sleek Contour Kit shade on a Real Techniques contour brush. I then pressed Revlon highlighting fluid across the tops of my cheekbones using a Real Techniques sponge, and intensified it with Seventeen highlighting brick over the top on a Crown angle brush, as well as down my nose.
Sorry for the recent lack of posts on my part – there’s a lot to get done as graduation draws nearer! Many thanks to Una and Kajal for picking up my slack. *Embarrassed monkey emoji*
I hope you like this look and had a lovely bank holiday weekend!
