NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie Review | Una

Hi friends! I hope you are all well, today I will be sharing my thoughts on my recent purchase of NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick.

If you’re into makeup as much as us, Tri Makeup girls, and use Instagram it is evitable that you have seen those 30 second videos of someone applying a matte liquid lipstick on full, plump lips. I don’t really want the plump lips, but I do enjoy seeing the variety of matte liquid lipsticks available on the market. The internet raves about the quality of NYX’s lipsticks especially at its low-cost price, so I was very excited to try it. Since it is coming up to the colder months, I went for a lip liner in the colour Brown and a Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Number 10, Lipli.

eft to Right: No7 – Bare, NXY Lip Liner – Brown, NXY Liquid Lipstick – Lipli (10)

Overall, I agree with the internet, the formula is rich and creamy and glides on well. It is also an absolute b*tch to remove so I know it has a long lasting capabilities. However, the colour is far too dark for me. The purple undertones just makes me look ill and reduce the size of my already small lips. I have tried to lighten it with other lipsticks, but the liquid lipstick formula doesn’t gel well with regular lipsticks. It just¬† makes my lips feel heavy and overly sticky.

The lip liner I adore. At only ¬£3 it is an absolute steal. It is so versatile and does allow my lipstick to last a little longer than normal. Here, I have paired it with No7’s Stay Perfect Lipstick in the colour Bare.

Let me know your thoughts on NYX’s Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick. I have simply chosen the wrong colour, what is your favourite that I should head out and buy? Til’ next time, bye! Una xoxo
